Safari Season: March to October

Our company has operated photographic safaris to Kruger National Park and Cape Town since 1991. What makes us different from other photographic safari operators is our personal touch. We provide very personal tours. We accommodate a maximum of 7 and a minimum of 5 persons per tour. This enables us to provide you with the best accommodations in the line of bed & breakfast, hotels and private safari lodges, not to mention the best cuisine and African wines. Furthermore, it makes our actual tour much more flexible. There are places where a tour bus cannot enter in Kruger and Cape Town, but with our 8 seat minibus we are not restricted at all. Our tour guides are all well informed in South African history, wildlife and cultures. In Kruger National Park you will have the opportunity to experience African wildlife in a totally different way. The animals are very approachable from the vehicle, and sightings of the “big five” (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo), amongst other flora and fauna, occurs frequently. Kruger National Park exceeds 5 million acres! That is one of the reasons we spend half of our safari in this animal heaven. Throughout Kruger there are overnight accommodations called “rest camps.” These structures are made up of permanent buildings with thatch roofs to give you an authentic African experience. Each two-bed bedroom has an in-suite bathroom with toilet, shower and basin. We will enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in the local restaurant located near each overnight camp. Traditional South African cuisine like beef, chicken, pork and fish, accompanied by fresh vegetables and salads, will be served. During our stay in the park we will conduct a 3-hour night drive. That’s the best time to see some of Africa’s nocturnal creatures. This is an event we highly recommend to everyone. Cape Town is South Africa’s mother city. This is a city of matchless beauty, located at the foot of Table Mountain. Our tours to Cape Town not only encompass the city, but the entire “Garden Route,” beginning at the town of George in the Southern Cape. From George we travel north to the “ostrich town” of Oudshoorn. From Oudshoorn we will head south to the town of Mossel Bay. Here the oldest Post tree in South Africa is found, with a replica of the ship that the Portuguese used to sail around the tip of Africa on their way to India to buy spices and fabric. From Mossel Bay we have a 4-hour drive to the city of Cape Town, where we will spend our last three days. Apart from the beauty of the Cape peninsula, attractions such as the castle (the first European building in South Africa), Victoria and Alfred waterfront, the cable car ride up Table Mountain and world-class wine tasting tours are all definite must-sees!
