PACKING
You are going to be away from home for 13 days. On our first leg of the tour to Kruger
National Park, there will be very limited laundry services. At each rest camp there is a laundry service, where you can do your own laundry.
Pack enough clothes that you do not have to do laundry for the first 7 days. In Cape Town
your bed and breakfast will have a laundry service at a small fee.
Pack for warm to slightly cool weather. In Kruger the days vary between 65 to 80 degrees.
The nights are around 40 to 55 degrees, so you don’t need to pack very heavy, warm
clothes. Most people travel in shorts or jeans with a T-shirt and a light polar fleece
sweater. Inside the vehicle we will regulate the temperature so no one will get too cold
or too hot. In Cape Town it can get cold in winter. There you may need a warmer jacket
and jeans. Wear clothes that you can shed during the day when it gets hot, and can
put back on when it gets cold.
